Many attempts at modelling trees were made. Primitive shapes were utilised and shaped through extrusions.

textural impressions on limbs and knots in the wood were achieved by using rough and normal maps.
The process was more satisfiying and yielded better results than photogrametry.
In both cases I started by trying to model roots.
If I had more time I would've continued on this road as I found it enjoyable and I understood where I was getting the best results.
